After almost 10 years, Fermín Villanueva and the Spanish pianist Pierre Delignies re-meet to collaborate together. Both met in their music studies in San Sebastián and played for the first time as a duo in the city's 'Quincena Musical'. For the next concerts, the two musicians present a program with sonatas by Debussy, Chopin and Franck.

The concerts will take place on November 19th at the University of Navarra, on November 20th at the Municipal Auditorium of Albacete, as well as on February 9th and 10th at the Juan March Foundation in Madrid. The concerts in Madrid will be broadcasted live for 'RNE'.

Press notes

"Fermín Villanueva impressed us showing the wide range of possibilities of his instrument: the voluminous and velvety color of the bass as well as the brilliant, lyrical tenacity of a tenor."

Peter Göthner. Leipziger Volkszeitung. March 2016

"A representation at the highest level. The young but already internationally recognized cellist as well as his virtuoso and award winning pianist, offered chamber music to the fineness, in which they interacted sensibly in an exemplary way, almost blindly understood."

Stephan Bülck. Nordfriesland Tageblatt. March 2016
